  • Serving size: 4-6 people

How do you make Firebird’s chicken pasta recipe?

Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2tbsp butter
  • 300g chicken mince
  • 250g mushrooms, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup chopped kale
  • 1 tbsp chopped oregano leaves, dried
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 lb of mozzarella cheese
  • Three chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp of ground black pepper
  • 12 oz chopped kale, green beans, and spinach (washed)
  • 4 tbsp of Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Thyme leaves

Directions:

Step: 1

Firstly, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Then, take a skillet pan and add butter and white wine on medium heat.

Step: 2

Once it is heated through and bubbles slightly, add more butter, garlic, oregano leaves, and chopped thyme leaves. If you don’t like thyme, leave it out.

Step: 3

Once the flame is on high, add chicken mince, mushrooms, chopped oregano leaves, and kale (if used). Cook on medium heat for around 8 minutes while stirring continuously. At this time, season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Step: 4

After about 8 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat and add spinach, green beans, and Kikkoman Soy Sauce. Then, top with a layer of chopped kale, green beans, and spinach.

Step: 5

Finally, grate some mozzarella cheese over the pasta and grated Parmesan cheese over the mozzarella before cooking for another 2-3 minutes at medium heat. Then it can be served with a salad or cooked vegetables.

Additional Tips:

  1. Kale and spinach can be used interchangeably. Wash the greens, squeeze out the water, and chop them finely with a knife.
  2. The mushrooms added to the sauce should be sliced into equal sizes, so they cook evenly. Squeeze out the mushrooms’ juice before adding minced garlic and seasoning with salt, pepper, black pepper, and thyme leaves using a garlic press or chop off their caps using a knife.
  3. For children, Kikkoman Soy Sauce tastes different from ordinary soy sauce, so it should not be used in large quantities since it is low in fat.
  4. Lemon juice and oregano leaves can also be used instead of thyme leaves if you prefer that way.

Precautions For Recipes:

  1. If you cook on an induction stove, remember to switch back to gas after adding the sauce.
  2. If you have used a gas stove, ensure the flame is on medium heat and not high.
  3. If using fresh garlic, ensure it is not chopped before adding it to the pan, as it will burn up quickly.
  4. The pan used to cook pasta should not be the same as that used to cook vegetables. They will require different temperatures.
  5. If you have used a gas stove, turn off the heat before adding sauce and other ingredients.
  6. Remember to switch back to gas after adding the sauce to cook evenly on medium heat when cooking on induction stoves.
